Jeff has been a great partner to work with on our Charity golf tournaments. We have been doing tournaments for 16 years and I was so pleased to have started working with Jeff at the last 2 years. I have learned a lot from Jeff. He is a great asset to anyone trying to run a golf tournament.

I had the pleasure to work with Jeff Mose on The Arc of Howard County’s annual TEE IT UP golf outing. Although The Arc has hosted several tournaments in the past, I was new to my position as Marketing and Events manager when I met with Jeff to plan our event. Throughout the entire process, Jeff‘s guidance proved invaluable. We were able to increase our golfers from the past tournament’s average of 90 to 137. We also increased the amount raised by $10,000 - more revenue than they ever had in the past. How did we do this? I listened to Jeff.
Mr. Mose always answered my questions. Whether it was an e-mail, a phone call or a late day text, he responded right back to me. Often my questions were clarifications of information he had already gone over with me (I didn’t know a lot about golf), it didn’t matter, Jeff was always ready to answer my questions.
Mr. Mose gave me years of expert knowledge. Jeff has been running tournaments and raising money for charitable organizations for years. He has seen it all. He was able to save me so much time by leading me in the right direction as far as what golfers like, what prizes they want, how the day should play out, etc…
Mr. Mose made the process fun! We had a great time planning the event. He was wonderful to work with the day of the event and we had a good wrap up meeting several weeks after the event to plan for the next year.
I would highly recommend Jeff Mose.
Warm Regards,
~ Barbara Moyer, Marketing and Events Manager, The Arc of Howard County
“Henley Construction Company, Inc. has been running an annual golf outing for twenty-five plus years. Last fall we had the great pleasure of working with Jeff Mose through Blue Mash golf course. This year we look forward to maintaining our relationship with him, as he was outstanding as a golf consultant and a great partner to work with.
Jeff met with us freely throughout the planning and actual event, fine tuning the details, listening to our concerns and helping us solve past issues. He listened and resolved problems starting with our attendance, which had been dropping off over recent years. We thought it was due to so many concurrent events at that time of year. Jeff asked questions and then guided us to what is now obvious, make it personal, right from the invitation. Our event is a 100% customer appreciation event. Jeff started there and suggested picking up the phone and extending a personal invitation. Even going so far as to write a script for our staff to use when making the calls, keeping is consistent and touching on all the key event details. That script and those calls filled the event to capacity, started a waiting list and resulted in two great business leads for us. All in less time spent than previous years and much to the pleasure of our customers, who stated “Who picks up the phone these days to hear thank you!”
Another major aspect of our golf outing is raising money for the Muscular Dystrophy Association, which has personal meaning to the owners of Henley Construction. This too was mentioned to Jeff and again he jumped in to help. He listened to ways we had tried to raise funds in the past with the best result being four thousand dollars. We listened to his suggestions and worked together planning new events during play and raffles held during the event. He also suggested reaching out directly to our guests by inviting our area representative to the event which we did and she came. Resulting in, during and including several days after the event, we were able to raise forty-eight thousand dollars for the Muscular Dystrophy Association.
As wonderfully successful as the event was, Jeff met up with us afterwards to review a few areas of event flow that we can tweak as well as brainstorming ideas for this year’s event, including how to bring local small businesses in the area to the event making a great time even better while supporting the local community. A true win-win. But, Jeff doesn’t only remember the winners, he remembers those golfers who get out only once a year at event such as ours. Yes, even the high score wins a prize. This year a tennis racket and balls, however secretly I believe he’s trying to get them to love the game of golf as much as he does.
Jeff Mose goes above and beyond for his clients and I highly recommend him.”

Jeff came to the attention of the Maryland Veterinary Foundation through the Waverly Woods golf course in Marriottsville, Maryland. Jeff not only helped the MVF double our proceeds for Veterinary Student scholarships but he helped us have fun doing it. The Foundation was floundering with our annual golf tournament and then Jeff entered our realm. Jeff guided us through the tournament process through our weekly committee conference calls. He was patient and offered us invaluable advice.
He provided us with solicitation advice, advice on how to shake up the norm through innovative ideas – a mega putt to start the day as well as the golf cannon. Additionally he recommended a shirt vendor and we had a limited silent auction. All these steps and more led us to a very successful outing.
Jeff is passionate about the game and with helping struggling organizations such as ours. In our eyes Jeff is the outstanding golf consultant and we are looking forward to working with him again in the near future.”

“We held our inaugural charity golf tournament fundraiser to benefit The Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation at Beaver Creek Country Club. During the planning phase we contacted “On Course Experience” and worked directly with Mr. Jeff Mose.
As this was our first year, we were very nervous, to say the least, about taking on such an endeavor. Mr. Mose immediately put our mind to ease with his understanding of our concerns. Mr. Mose walked us though the process, step by step, and provided examples of how we could complete the task. He provided numerous examples of other events and how each modified it to fit their event.
One of the most important things Mr. Mose provided was explaining what the most successful fundraisers have in common and recommended alternative ideas when we had strayed off course. He provided written material for us to review, and he gave us his direct line for us to contact him at any time though the process. We went quickly from a group of nervous “well to-doers”, to a motivated team with clear objectives to focus our efforts.
Mr. Mose recommended we secure a Corporate Sponsor and provided suggestions on how to sell the sponsorship to the corporation. That specific sponsorship increased our fund-raising success by 40%. We would not have secured that sponsor without his encouragement and advice.
On several of our ideas, Mr. Mose discussed how we could keep the original idea, but by changing it with a little twist, make the task financially more successful. Mr. Mose and his team even participated in our tournament as with a crowd-pleasing fundraiser on a hole that was very successful and popular.
We were impressed with his understanding of our vision for the event and how he respected it, maintained it, but by recommending small changes, made them profitable ideas. Mr. Mose provided selling techniques and practice sessions for area’s such as; hole sponsorship, door prizes, marketing tips for our corporate sponsor, and different levels of sponsorship. I would not have presented three levels of sponsorship without his input. I have recommended Mr. Mose to others conducting golf tournaments, as well as, other charity events. We will be holding our tournament again this year with higher goals, a more controlled process, and of course will be asking Mr. Mose to assist us. Jeff was the best investment we made in our tournament.”

“This year we had the privilege of working with Jeff Mose for our tournament at Waverly Woods Golf Course. Jeff was extremely helpful through the whole process. From the first meeting, through an issue that arose after the tournament, Jeff was attentive, professional and knowledgeable. He offered us many ideas and options for strategies to raise more money. He offered his opinions on what merchandise is best to use in our swag bags, what promotional items are best received and what types of awards were most cost effective.
Jeff made the whole process as stress free as possible. He made sure all arrangements were in place prior to the tournament. He helped us with a timeline of when things needed to set, and was always available to answer questions. With Jeff’s help, our tournament raised double the amount of money as the previous year!
Along with his knowledge and expertise, he is genuinely a nice person. He is kind and caring. He took the time to not only know about our tournament, but about us, our company and our cause.
It was an absolute pleasure that we will be recommending him to anyone hosting a golf tournament.”

“As a chair person for over 23 years running a association golf tournament, being introduced to Jeff through Waverly Woods has taken our tournament to another level. With Jeff’s experience and continuing ideas, we have already met for this year’s tournament and will be presenting them at my January’s golf meeting.
I’ve already have recommended, Jeff to 2 other associations that have golf tournaments in the Baltimore area!!”
